The Best of Rosh Hashanah
May you hear the joyful voice of the shofar!
May you have a good and sweet year!
May it be a year of peace!
Rosh Hashanah is the beginning of the Jewish New Year. Rosh Hashanah customs include sounding the shofar (a hollowed-out ram’s horn) and eating symbolic foods such as apples dipped in honey to evoke a “sweet new year.”
