Feminist Liberation Theologians’ Network 2016

The Feminist Liberation Theologians’ Network sponsored by the Women’s Alliance for Theology, Ethics, and Ritual (WATER) will discuss Intersectionality and Political Action. Speakers will look at kyriarchal structures that oppress as well as feminist theological resources/actions that are conducive of justice. The meeting will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016, 4-6 PM, San Antonio, TX in conjunction with the American Academy of Religion/Society of Biblical Literature annual meeting. 

 

Discussion and strategizing will follow short presentations by:

  •  Alba Onofrio, Soulforce

  •   Judith Plaskow, Manhattan College emerita

  •   Andrea Smith, University of California Riverside
