Feminist Liberation Theologians’ Network Meeting 2015
The 2015 Feminist Liberation Theologians’ Meeting was held at the AAR on Friday November 20, 2015 from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM in Atlanta. The Network discussed the importance of art as a method for spiritual deepening and social justice. Panelists were Katie Cannon, Union Presbyterian Seminary; Cynthia Kittredge, Seminary of the Southwest; Mónica Maher, Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences, Ecuador; and Elizabeth Ursic, Mesa Community College.
Amplifying Marginalized Voices
In December 2014, a group of fourteen lesbian thinkers and activists for Amplifying Marginalized Voices, a project to outline strategies for creating change in the movement toward equality for marginalized groups in religion and in the broader world. The goal of the project is to inspire action, start conversation and create safe spaces for listening, learning, collaboration and support.
